    Elvis DVD Box Set

I hadn't heard about this before. Can you provide further details on it, like price, what movies are in it, is it worth the money? Just wondering.

I bought this set after I did the math on it. It was a good price coming from EPE. Two of the movies are widescreen/fullscreen options. I also enjoy the "music video" CD. In fact, I would like to see more of this type DVD put out - that way I don't have to keep FF to get to the songs I love from each movie.

    Films

I'm sure this is good, but it is hardly what could be called "ultimate"!

Surely, an "ultimate" film set would have all 33 films on DVD in one place?

Again, "ultimate" is one of those overused and abused words which has lost its meaning.

I agree....this set isn't "Ultimate"....I doubt if we'll ever see an "Ultimate" Elvis film collection in our lifetimes....unless it's a bootleg set....

I was at EI 2006 when they announced this and talked to the lady at the booth from EPE. Apparantly they want to release several of these until all the movies are used, (ie some of the good ones mixed with the not-so-good) , that is, if they sell well enough.
Got my family, my kids, my books and my music, I'm good, yeah, I'm good.....

Surely they must release all the movies?? But it strikes me as odd, the start of their commercial... "the fans made a wish"; who and when was that because that escaped me, but for those that don't have any of his movie this could be a starting point (and a whole lot better than the Elvis duck), but I'm not interested in this release, firstly, because I have some of the films that are in the boxset and second, I have no interest in the extras

sets are ok but you end up doubling up on films, trying to get all films is hard.
but as soon as i gett them will be transfering into my own ultimate covers.
still working on them at moment.you can buy 27 of his films on dvd original so far.

I would get it but I've already have all of these movies. I almost have all of his movies except "Paradise Hawaiian Style", "Kissing Cousins", "Double Trouble" and "Easy Come, Easy Go".

I just saw this on an infomercial. I'll have to log on EPE & see if it's still do-able. My last big splurge for awhile But at least I'll have my own copies instead of borrowing mom's.
All I wanted was a white knight with a good heart, soft touch, fast horse
Ride me off into the sunset Baby, I'm forever yours
