Elvis will always be #1!!!! If it wasn't for Elvis...There would be no Beatles! Right? And, sorry to say this...but, the Beatles didn't stay together long. There's so much about them that I don't like, sure they have some good songs, but I am sick of seeing too many Beatles books in the book stores and so little of Elvis (mostly cheap books and are repeats) Elvis Lasts forever!! c'mon put out some good books on Elvis with never before seen photos and some concert dvd's without cutting it up! I was so mad that there was "Kiss" dvd concert that came out and it had 10 hours of all great concerts!! Where's all those concerts that they filmed from the 50's and the great vegas concerts??? I want it here in the U.S. that is avaiable here that you can buy in any stores in a fair prices and not to order imports!! geez! ELVIS PRESLEY FOREVER!!
Comparing Elvis & the Beatles is, IMO, like comparing Picasso & Degas. Beauty in both. But in my books, Elvis is #1. He led the way, opened the doors, & he did it with unfailing grace & beauty & a sense of humor!
