Of the imitators I have heard I think Doug Church sounds most like Elvis vocally.
I saw this guy perform Love Me Tender with The Sweet inspirations and all I can say is AMAZING! At first I thought it was a hologram EP and then when I saw it was a real person then I thought he was lip syncing. Man, this guy should have been contacted by EPE to play EP in that horrible CBS miniseries. This guy could pass as EP's child.
After the amazing vocal performance, watch the interview with Myrna and The Sweets. Notice Myrna. What is wrong with her? She acts as if she is on something, like crack.

Its hard to say what her proble was, some people just can not stand still though. She sounded normal in voice compared to the few times I have heard her in interviews. But who knows.
oh my goodness - I see what you mean about Myrna.....maybe she did have to pee! lol...but those ladies still look good and that Elvis Impersonator - man he was really good!
Yeah this guy was AMAZING! And I don't know about Myrna. But I had a good friend who used to be addicted to crack and I hate to say this but that was exactly how she acted when on that stuff. I just hope Myrna isn't doing that stuff. Especially at her age. But she is acting somewhat high during that interview.
Doug Church RULES

Nice to know what these people are doing, but I'm glad I'm not limited to Elvis Impersonation/tribute performances.
I guess what made Elvis so special in his days were his charisma and the rarity of his talent.
all the goons I left behind,
memories still linger..
Man! This is amazing. SImply amazing! Never seen anyone look ?nd sound like Elvis like this young dude. The eyes, the cheeks, the hair, the lips...
His face has the chubby-ness of Elvis in 1966-1967, but his looks are younger. Perhaps he looks even more like a fifties/early sixties Elvis when he'd lose about 15-20 pounds.
I saw some different clips from him and there was his performance way less than here: you can't have an impersonator who has a 50s sound and looks, and then have him do a "1968 Elvis" or a "Vegas Elvis". That just won't work (and those clips proves it). Too bad. And on up-tempo songs his voice even sound like Elvis (in any way)

just browing through youtube I found this clip: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=ova6ojcrmGg this guy gives some sort of a "Story Of Elvis" musical performance. It looks really great and not as cheesy and cheap as 99% of all the (overweight) jumpsuit impersonators.

I wish the clips showed him more close up, he really does the Vegas years justice!!!
Grahame Patrick is the young Elvis on the video. He has a great voice, but there's just something about his looks that bothers me? There are similar features, but there's still something???
I do like his voice, though!
What I dont understand is when the Sweet Inspirations say elvis never spoke german what about the song WOODEN HEART????![]()
These guys are all quite good in appearance and voice but since we saw Elvis in person, I always find something lacking and feel let down and sad that it's not him. Wish I could get over that.
