I LOVE the song but agree that the video wasnt what I expected. It was a nice video but I wish they would have had longer. I am going to download the song on itunes and make MY OWN video for youtube.com! Hopefully it will be as well recieved as my others.
I think this is impressive. Nice harmonizing on Lisa's part. I don't think she could have pulled that off a few years ago.
Not a major production and I might not have minded more but the minimal feel it has keeps the song's message very simple and clear. I hope this does good things for Lisa, for Elvis, and for the charity.

I was amused at how Lisa said on Good Morning America that the tear running down her cheek was real ... which I'm sure accounts for how they managed to get a close up of it!
It's great that all the profits will go to help Presley Place, but as several people on here and elsewhere have said, she can't sing worth a lick. I thought Don't Cry Daddy was bad enough, but THIS!

from the last "duet", you know, like SINGING for instance, but no....
It's like a bad karaoke version of somebody yelling along with the
beautiful, tender and intimate song that "?n the Ghetto" USED to be.
The video is rather self indulgent, too. It is upsetting how she kills
the original sensitivity of the song with her added, loud, vocals.
The so called harmonizing is so base level, it's shocking. If at least
she had some professional training or help to make her understand
what music is and what it CAN sound like, I think perhaps a professional
can make a voice like hers seem better than it really is. Sad and again
a waste of money and time. I'm sure a re-release of Elvis' original
version would bring in plenty of money for the charity.
Is this supposed to be another (big and official) rip off now ?
So, if you can't make it on your own, Lisa, you may try again, right ?!

A whole CD (maybe double one) with you & Dad and HIS songs of course; not yours, and not your (and Michael's) musicians...

I have to be totally honest ...I did not like the video at all. I loved the vocals but that video does nothing for the song. In the video Lisa looks more confused than concerned, the footage of Elvis was ok but the whole thing seemed bland and did not touch me in the way the song does when you listen to it on its own. I think the video should have followed the story in the song but thats just my opinion again it was not what I was expecting either. Lisa's vocals were wonderful and mixed well with Elvis' it was beautiful..I hope it does well for donations towards helping the homeless in New Orleans about time someone did something to help those unfortunate people
