Most of the video clip is from San Antonio, except a little piece that was taken from a distance (see picture below). That part is from Detroit. You can see the band wearing light blue suits.

There has been footage shot in Macon. Elvis arrival. He comes out of the limousine and walks toward the waiting fans, dressed in the the 1971 "Snowflake Suit" with black lined cape. Also backstage shots dressed in the 1971 "White Pinwheel" waiting to go on stage are from Macon.
Leroy as usual in the Elvis world nothing seems simple
If you have a chance and can get a copy of the import DVD
"Elvis on Tour Day by Day" they have clips listed as Macon Ga 2 songs, 10 minutes -and then later a section of San Antonio with about 20 minutes of footage his hair is styled different in San Antonio than in the supposed Macon footage.
Also In trying to figure out if this footage is from Macon I ran accross some pictures supposedly from Macon 4-15-72

Are these pictures actually from Macon? His hair looks similar to the footage supposedly from Macon Thanks KPM

KPM, I followed the link to the pictures. The first two pictures are indeed from Macon. I'm not shure about the third picture, mainly because it's been posted mirrored. The last one is from Detroit.

Remember that other thread re the picture ... no conclusion was reached.

The photographer, Ed Bonja, said he took it in San Antonio ... no one has come up with specific evidence to suggest otherwise.

Am I wrong in my memory it seems in EOT they show ELvis at the end of a concert in the Pinwheel suit from San Antonio with his cape stretched. It seems his hair is still fairly neat. I would have to try to find it on my VHS copies to be sure (another good reason to get a great DVD box set of EOT out) The picture Leroy says is Detroit his hair is fully down on his forehead in a mess.
