Myrna & the Sweets were very good friends to Elvis. He spent a lot of time with them before his shows. I would imagine that when he had Lisa with him, she was in the dressing room with them as well. Therefore, it would stand to reason that Lisa developed a special friendship with these women as her father did. I admire & respect Myrna for keeping her friendship with Elvis to herself. I would hate to think that my close friends are out there talking about me for whatever reason. Any news or revelations about me should come from me. Although I must admit that deep down, I want to know Elvis through her eyes & heart!

Joe did, if I'm not mistaken, have a list of who was to ride with whom to the cemetery...I also read that Ginger and her family were in one of the last cars in the rear of the procession...now....what does that tell you 'bout Elvis's feelings about Ginger??

Thanks....I didn't mean to de-rail the thread...that fact was just something that I remembered from reading Dick Grob's (yeah, I know he's not very good when it comes to factual information) book, "The Elvis Conspiracy?"

I think it says more about Vernon and Priscilla's feeling for Ginger.

All it says in Jerry's book page 324 is that ''Riding in one of sixteen white limousines behind Elvis, i kept thinking about a song he had played for me''

    Hi All !

It's very easy, Myrna was Jerry's GF and was befriended with Linda and Priscilla. She was also the only one how came at Elvis homes on a regular base.
Also did she and Jerry had to watch over Lisa regularly.
Again a misleading story going on.
If somebody would botehr to watch the footage , it's easy enough to figure out who is driving with whom !

    TCB all !

This rumor has no legs from all I have read:
According to Joe Esposito in his book "Good Rockin Tonight" Vernon gave instructions to him as to who would ride in the different cars-in Vernons car were Sandy (Vernons Girlfriend) Grandma, and Aunt Delta.Lisa Marie, Priscilla, Joes ex-wife Joan and Priscillas family were in the second. Joe, his girlfriend and some of the other pallbearers were in the third. Jerry Schilling, Myrna, Lamar, and others rode in another limo. Thats pretty definitive if true.

According to Priscillas book She and Lisa rode with Vernon and Sandy in the first car. Still no mention of Myrna in either account. I mean from all I've read (and can remember) I know for a fact Lisa and Priscilla rode in one of the first cars. I know for fact Vernon would have been in one of those cars.

This rumor is supposed to be based upon footage of Lisa and Myrna walking at the funeral and upon an alleged interview in which Myrna says she was in the first car with Vernon and Lisa.
Strange but when I use any combination of search inquiries about this subject and the interviews or footage-the only mention -is in this 6 year old thread?
I would think if an interview and footage exists it would certainly be upon the internet.
The logical "seating arrangement of cars" would seem to be as Joe E mentions in his book-since Joe E handled the details for Vernon of the funeral it would seem his version would most likely be correct.
