The first ever EP themed Hotel and casino is coming soon to Las Vegas. It was reported this week in the Washington Post that there are plans to build an EP themed hotel as part of the new $7 billion project called City Center Las Vegas resort. This is where the new EP themed Cirque du Soleil's extravaganza will be located. It's currently under construction at the moment and won't be finished until November 2009 when the show will make it's long awaited debut.

The EP inspired hotel will be called the Graceland Hotel and Casino and is slated to open in 2011. There's also plans for EP themed hotel and casino resorts in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. There is also rumors floating around about a possible 50 foot EP statue that would be part of a new Las Vegas skyline. Woa I wonder if FXS has anything to do with this too? If they built a statue that tall of EP in Vegas, it would become the new Statue of Liberty (royalty) of the West Coast and a true tribute to his importance and everlasting impact.

There are some wonderful and exciting projects in the works. The Graceland expansion is now being listed as much as $300 million in some reports. It seems that since Bob Sillerman has taken over that EP is becoming more of a historic cultural figure than just a famous celebrity icon.
