Well we are just going to have to agree to disagree on this.
If the fan who took the 8mm footage was told by the director-"okay go over there to the right and film from that angle because we might use it in the movie" but it was not used in the movie-then it would be an "official studio outtake". But if Elvis's guys or a fan are just taking quick shots here and there-without the director of the film being involved it is not a part of the movie making process. The next day when they look at that days scene prints the director does not see the home movies made by whoever happened to be on the set, and taking 8mm home movies. It just seems to make sense. The film is in the hands of the director and unless he has asked the scenes to be taken-its not part of his project. They may now be used to be added to DVDs as an extra but not a studio outtake. No problem- if you see it different fine by me, but we are going to have to agree to disagree.
Same Old stuff, It's don't matter who is Right or wrong, It Wasn't made right for today fans, I'm from old school it's don't matter how It sound long *** we see Elvis clear and heasr him at 85%
