I haven't read this book, but yes, there was an FBI file kept on Elvis that started during his early years and later there was a FBI operation that involved Elvis and one his planes....I've read the acutal FBI files.

The only FBI stuff is the stuff the agency kept on him for several years because they thought he was a threat to the morality of youth.
All the other crap about him being a witness in a case, or that something happened with one of his planes, is just that ...
