I saw this on youtube, well, i weren't impressed, i thought it was very tacky. She has a good voice, but the background music was tacky. What do you think ?
Anyway, so check it out and see what you think:

She's cute as a button ... but this woman cannot sing!
A perfect example (like Britney Spears) of someone with minimum talent achieving maximum exposure, elevated to worldwide superstardom with the help of a massive publicity machine.
Still, this isn't as bad as her duet of White Christmas with her ex husband Nick Lachey on the Simpson Family Christmas Special a couple of years back. The show was a classic ... but for all the worng reasons.

I liked the hawaiian scenery and the Elvis clips but wasn't too impressed with the lady. She reminded me of Britney Spears too and I agree with you Danielle, kinda tacky..

Thanks for your replies.![]()
She is a pretty girl but she sure did kill that song![]()
it's nice, but she completely missed it: Love Me Tender isn't a sensual song, it's a honoust, tender, timid song.
Nowadays artists are overproduced and seem to be more focused on selling than anytime before. Seems like there's no more place for the softer-side of life: just compare the early Beach Boys songs where they sing about dating, school, growing up, etc. and the songs teenagers now sing on MTV.
But still nice to see some modern performers sing an Elvis songs (and Jessica is a sweetheart)![]()
