Um....ol' Larry's memory must be slippin'....I believe that it's been proven that Elvis wasn't reading "The Scientific Search For The Face Of Jesus" when he was found on August 16, 1977..........

Larry Geller's website now on-line:
From 1964 until the very final days Larry Geller was a close friend to Elvis. Larry's own website is now on-line featuring information about his new book 'Leaves of Elvis' Garden', photos, book excerpts, contact details and much more. As Larry Geller was a vegetarian and nutritionalist perhaps Elvis might have lived longer had he paid more attention to Geller's healthy life-style. Go here http://www.larrygellerauthor.com/ to see Larry Geller's new website. Click here http://www.elvisinfonet.com/intervie...eller2007.html to read EIN's recent interview with Larry. Larry will say anything to make a buck.
Care to elaborate on that?
Apart from books on Elvis?
I mean Larry was with Elvis....unlike Wanda "One flew over the cuckoos nest" Hill
The Sun Never Sets On A Legend...
Franny, thanks for posting. I enjoyed the read. I would like to believe Larry Geller on Elvis, but I have a problem with him labeling himself as his "spiritual mentor". He is a hairdresser, not a spiritual mentor. I do believe most of what he said in the first chapter of his book. I would like to read the book. I think I'll wait for reviews when it comes out.
I just find it so hard to believe what Larry saysThis guy is on his third book (bite of the cherry) even though the first two were collaborations, That's why I think he has gone all out with the new web site etc.
Larry doesn't dwell on the dark side which can been seen as plus, however from what is on his site and from his excerpts this guy seriously overplays his role in Elvis' life, if he had half the influence he credits himself with we wouldn't be marking the passage of 30 years of Elvis' passing.
Only Elvis knows what he was reading then.
I'm in agreement with Matt. I don't think he's a bad guy but I think labeling himself as spiritual mentor is a bit much too - he was, maybe still is, a hairdresser.
I read his first book, wasn't too bad but I couldn't take it too seriously and I doubt if his second or third book has much else to offer so I'm passing.

I read Larry's first book "If I can Dream" and really enjoyed it and do believe that there is a lot of truth in his book. Yep for me, I will buy this book too. Dovey![]()
Like sands through the hourglass, these are the days of our lives .....
I would urge anyone who wants to know more about Elvis's spiritual side to read Larry's books rather than throwing money away at people who were never with Elvis.
The Sun Never Sets On A Legend...
I don't doubt Larry's sincerity one iota, the guy is spiritual, Elvis was spiritual and there was a conection between these people. I do doubt the following comment:-?Elvis charged me with this responsibility, empowering me and inspiring me to write this book when he said: ?The world knows Elvis Presley all right, but they don?t know me. I want them to know me, the real person. Larry, I?m counting on you."There may be a kernel of truth but as with most of the MM or inner circle their creative imagination puts them in a place of trust second to no-one.
What bad has Larry done to any of you, really?
Could it be jealously perhaps?![]()
"You can knock me down, step in my face,
slander my name all over the place"
- But don't YOU step on my blue suede shoes -

*You walk past me- I can feel your pain-Time changes everything -One truth always stays the same - You're still you - After all - You're still you *
I have to agree 100% They all were in charge, they all were his most trusted confident, they all have the unbridled, unchanged truth, they and they alone truely knew the real Elvis..........I think Elvis was searching his whole life and was comfortable talking to Larry about many spiritual things but the whole "The world knows Elvis Presley all right........." does not sound true. IMO
It takes a huge ego to consider yourself as a "Spiritual Guru"![]()
Elvis must be looking down and feeling very disappointed about how some of the guys have conducted themselves over the years! Some of these guys were the people who he looked to, to help and support him with his quest for knowledge, they have simply let him down in many ways due to their need to feel self important and pursuit of the almighty $$. How are they going to be able to face Elvis in the afterlife.
