She lives in a fantasy world.I dont know if she honestly believes everything she says or is just a con.Either way her stories are just that.

There have been discussions about this before. "Whatever" (one of my sayings).

We all have our opinions and feelings. I really like the lady. She is special.

sure is a cruel remark for such a nice lady..and what's the extraordinary thing about knowing or meeting him that you call her story,a fantasy,I just wonder..

I was around from the beginning and old enough to read about Wanda Hill and Elvis way back then and there didn't seem to be as much of a relationship going on with him as she likes to tell now. Could be wrong but I seriously doubt it. Many others have done the same thing.

You have to remember that Elvis was so much on the road in those days he didn't have much time to spend with any girl. They were all pretty much hit and runs off and on so those who claim they had a steady relationship with him at that time had to be grossly exaggerating.

And how could any girl claim to be special to any guy that was seeing half a dozen other girls at the same time?

From all I've heard and read, Anita and Ann Margaret were the only two he saw that had any fidelity from him (for a time) so my guess is that these were the two in his life that kept his attention on them the most.

Hi Diane, of course you don't look like a traitor..she never claims she was his steady or girlfriend..quite the opposite, she was married and had a baby and their conversations wasn't face to face most of the time..she is just some one who is happy enough of having a normal friendship with Elvis the human and this was also something Elvis needed and couldn't share with many people..when it comes to Elvis's faults, everyone remembers that he was too,a human,so why don't we remember this when it's about his normal needs such as a friend who didn't remind him his image and professionel life every minute.Maybe you could decide better after reading her last book or talk to herself since she is always ready to answer. but don't get me wrong this is something you'd know only..what I know is,it's a pleasure to talk to Mrs Hill ,not just about Elvis but anything else..life ,health animals, books, daily things, personal problems, even politics..

I like Mrs Wanda June Hill, very nice and very down to earth lady, not making herself more important then she ever was in his life neither.
I had many conversations with her and being an elvisfan for 30 years, read so many books I can't count them any more, had the chance to talk to people who knew and worked for him too and never ever had the feeling she was telling lies to me.

By the way, her book made me cry, it was like Elvis was right there in front of me, not the entertainer but the human being.

    Thanks Wanda.

You are right, interesting to say the least. Like the graphologist document that states the 3 specimens analysed are written by Elvis Presley without refering to what specimens she supposedly analysed (not very professional I must say) and we shouldn?t forget there?s a big difference comparing that graphology work performed and a forensic document examination.
    http://www.elvislightedcandle.org/th...oc_handwrt.htm
Or the voice analysis where the expert ?s veredict is the voice in the tapes wanda brought are Elvis Presley and Wanda June Hill without analysing Wanda?s voice. Very professional too.
    http://www.elvislightedcandle.org/th...oundstudio.htm
And what can we say about the letter the voice expert sends her from London telling her he will be relocated in Europe for some years without an adress and asking her never to release her phone taped conversations with Elvis because it would be like loosing his faith in her...

Thanks for the link presley31, an intersting read indeed.

Zey, I admit I may have misread the article with Wanda Hill or she isn't the one I was thinking of and she may have just been someone for Elvis to talk to and is not claiming more. I will have to go to her site and read it again.

My personal suspicion though is that there were many women whom Elvis just talked to in his need for companionship who now claim much more to the relationship than there actually was.

I admire Sandi Pichon who states honestly how her friendship as a fan with Elvis really was and doesn't use him to boost her ego.

    She needs professional help.

    Shes a sad little person.

I just read what Wanda Hill had to say about Elvis in her site again and I really don't know what to think of all I read in there. I'm still suspicious that she is using him for publicity for her book and boost her ego.

Donut, you have posted some very interesting information - thank you.

    Lisa & Elvis in 1974

    Quote:
LISA: Is this my Daddy Elvis?

ELVIS: Yes honey, it’s daddy. How’s my big baby girl, she about to go nitey-nite?

    LISA: Yes–are you to, Elvis?

ELVIS: Yes–I’m in bed-do you have Barbara with you-I got Stevie here, ‘member you left him for me?

LISA: Yeah-is he lonely? I got Teddy too, he’s got his eye back. Leona found it under the bed and fixed it.

ELVIS: That’s good-Teddy was sorry without his eye.

LISA: I know–Elvis–can I come see you? I want to huggy and kissy my little daddy.

ELVIS: I know you do babydoll, real soon honey, I promise. Daddy’ll come to her and usns will play and huggy and kissy and cuddle too then, okay? Daddy want’s to see his baby girl real bad too. Him loves her so much babydoll. Little bit of heaven she is to him honey. My heavenly angel girl.

LISA: (giggles) Hims her heavenly one too! Her can squeeze him, and huggy him and cuddle then and real, real soon, don’t you think so daddy Elvis? Hmmm-real soon?

ELVIS: (laughs softly) Yeah baby, real soon! I took Moriah out for a run and he beat Sun! Sun was lazy that day, wouldn’t hardly run for me so your pony just whipped his tail!

LISA: Did he-I said he was real fast! I ant to see him to, can I?

ELVIS: Sure babydoll, when you come we’ll run him and see if he beats Ebony too-bet he can do it with you ridin’ him!

LISA: Yeah! When Elvis, when can I come home to see you and Moriah? I want to come now.

ELVIS: Well, honey I’m workin’ now but when I get done then I’ll come by, pick you up and you can ride home with me and help me unpack and everything, okay? Want to do that?

LISA: Yeah-but I like to see you work too-can I, pleaassse? Please Elvis, please! Daddy-Elvis-I want to stay with you so much, please keep me.

ELVIS: Honey-if I could I’d do it-but I can’t take you with me and I can’t stay home with you, honey.

LISA: I could hug you to pieces if I was there and we could cuddle and be all snuggyboo and usuns all close and kissy together.

ELVIS: Sounds very nice Lisa baby, daddy’d like to cuddle and huggy her right now. He mises his little punkinhead so much and her’s a precious little one to him. God, babygirl, I love you very, very much. I wish you were with me too, but it can’t be now and we have to enjoy the time we do have honey. Okay?

LISA: If you promise to come soon and keep me as long as a year, till Christmas!

ELVIS: What about school? You’d miss everything-

LISA: I only need my daddy–he’s fun!

ELVIS: Oh, you’d spoil me and then what would happen-I’d get rotten and stink!

LISA: (giggle) I could comb your hair, too and get your shirts out and everything. You could just rest and watch TV and I could change stations too and you wouldn’t have to!

ELVIS: Got it all figured out huh, baby? Well, we’ll see when I come get you-I bet you’ll get tired of waiting on me all that time and then you’ll want to go home to be with mommy.

LISA: I never want to go home Elvis. I always cry.

ELVIS: I know honey, me too. Maybe we are both just babies, like mommy tells us.

LISA: Mommy cries sometimes but she hides.

    ELVIS: She does?

    LISA: Yeah, her bathroom knows!

ELVIS: Oh-she goes in there and cries-when? Why does she cry?

LISA: If I’m bad or she won’t let me see you and when you called last, she cried a long time daddy and then came and slept with me and Teddy and Barbara.

ELVIS: She did, I’m sorry–I hurt her I guess Lisa. It was bad of me. We should never hurt other people with things we say or what we do. It’s bad and it makes bad things happen to us, too.

LISA: I know-but mommy said bad thing to you-I heard her!

ELVIS: Honey, she just was angry and didn’t mean them. You know, we all say bad things then and we shouldn’t-but we do and then it’s not good for anybody. That’s why we ought to try not to get angry and upset. It makes things real bad then.

LISA: I know-daddy, I’d kiss you if I was there and give you a big huggie too.

ELVIS: And slurp in my ear? (Laughs) Remember doin’ that honey?

    LISA: (giggles) You woke up!

ELVIS: Yeah-spit was runnin’ in my ear!

LISA: (laughing and giggling) I’ll but a big luggie in it next time!

ELVIS: Oh yucky stuff! Don’t do that! Or I’ll have to get you down and tickle you and bit your toes off!

LISA: (giggling) Yeah-well I’ll bit you too! I’ll bit off your nose!

ELVIS: God-I need my nose! But you could loose some of your toes!

LISA: (giggling) I’ll kick your nose and then bite it off and chew it all up and you’ll have to breathe out your ears!

ELVIS: (laughing) Yeah! Well, I’ll eat off your ears and make cotton candy from your hair and use your arm for a stick! Man, you’d look funny then!

    LISA: (giggling and laughing)
