I love Elvis' voice but boy there are some songs that are way beyond my love lol. For instance Elvis' voice on 'Sylvia' is fantastic but the song.... Yuk

    What a great thread!
songs that make me feel good: Pocketful of Rainbows, Because of Love, I'll Remember You.
silly songs that I love to hear:
Almost Always True, Walls Have Ears, Little Egypt;, & my favorite We're Coming Loaded

Songs that make me groan in shame (yet I own the CDs & play them):Yoga is as Yoga Does, Confidence

I like Sylvia - it makes me smile because my supervisor's name is Sylvia & she's also a b***buster. (Oops, can I say that?)

There are some "weird" songs, maybe... But I LIKE THEM ANYWAY.
Let the stars fade and fall, and I won't care at all, as long as I have you.

    Talking

I just love the dorky ELvis songs from soundtracks. Many of them are so meaningless and (therefor) so cheerful. Songs like "Yoga Is As Yoga Does" or "Stay Away Joe" aren't meant to make any artistic statement.

And no, even among Elvisfans I'm not ashamed to tell I love songs from soundtracks like "Paradise Hawaiian Style", "Harum Scarum" and songs like "How Would You Like To Be" and "Old McDonald"

I agree on the soundtrack albums, there is an innocence to them that I like.
It is just fun. Maybe not always the best music but it is fun.
"No Room To Rumba in a Sportscar" not great music but fun.

Don`t think I`ve ever felt ashamed of anything Elvis recorded......sure there were some that were seriously below-par....doesn`t bother me though. Some of those songs from the movie soundtracks are just really fun songs and cheer me up constantly!.....
