Elvis Stylist-Trent Carlini advances to Finals of ABC Reality show!

World famous Elvis stylist and look a like Trent Carlini is in the finals of the new hit ABC show The Next Best Thing. He performed Suspicious Minds and had the women going crazy. He also has EP's eyes and even the world famous grin. He's definitely had plastic surgury to accomplish the look. He wore an authentic replica of the American Eagle Aloha suit with red leigh and blue scarf. His voice isn't a copy of EP as his looks are, but he does resemble in spots.Oh by the way, there is a young 56 EP in the finals also who is got the moves down as good as I have seen.

The finals are next week on ABC at 7 CT Wednesday.

Why?See im going to give my honest opinion on this and hope no one gets offended.Carlini offers an ok illusion.Hes a good looking guy but doesnt look like Elvis,c'mon!The voice is not there and its sounding worse over the years like Ronnie Mcdowell.He's kind of on the shorter side.Ive seen him in Vegas.Unfortunately his head has gotten too big for him since he played the stage of the Hilton.And thats not good.It comes across you can tell.He has a financial backer with deep pockets who has made his name big in Vegas.Thats what it is,the name.As for the younger one...his voice was flat.Dont know how he made it.Ive seen much better.His looks are kinda scary.Looks like hes had work done also and needs dental work.And to top it off he doesnt play guitar.But yet,these guys still made it to the finals.Congratulations!`Gotta give it to them for that and their PR people for getting them in there.Its not always about the total package,its who you know.Thats just my opinion people.Ive worked in the business.Dont hate me for it,lol.You know what they say folks,opinions are like an A*s H*les, everybody has one.

I actually met Trent in person, (with my wife), shook his hand and chatted for a minute or two in Vegas about 5 years ago.

Sure, He is a good looking dude, but he doesn't look like Elvis in the slightest. He combs his hair like Elvis, I'll give him that ...

Imho, I did find him to be a bit cold and distant when me, and a few others, mentioned that Elvis was our fav artist or singer ...

He obviously wanted the attention and fandom to be directed at him, rather than the illusion of what he was presenting and/or Elvis' memory.

No. He said he wanted to be better than the others who do EP. He never said he wanted to be better than EP. That would be insane and arrogant as hell. Carlini is the most recognized EP stylist in the world. He's made close to a million just doing EP in Vegas with the Legends of Vegas phenomenon. Priscilla, Joe Esposito and others have witnessed his shows and raved. Joe is his close friend even.

I thought last night he looked a lot like EP in the eyes. Off stage his presence isn't as much EP as it Trent. On stage is a different story. His suits are authentic made and his show is as close to the original as possible.

Well,im friends with a lot of Elvis' innercircle also.It doesnt really mean anything.The point is that I and other people i know have witnessed how big his head has gotten over the years.But listen to him sing next to someone who might actually be a great singer and then tell me what u think about his voice.Just because he has a name or whoever it is, doesnt mean they have the actual talent and are the complete package.He has a good stage show ill give him that.Thats all.

Trent is good friend of mine I seen his show when I performed out in Vegas. I think he did good job I think he was a little under the weather that night they filmed you can tell it was hard for him to breath.

Out of a lot of the guys Trent and Donny are best two they could have picked. My good friend Shawn Klush was to be the 70s Elvis but he packed out because his son was being confirmed at his church and Shawn didnt want miss it.

I like if there is Season 2 I will try out. I know I wont make it but it be fun to try?

The best elvis artist i have seen is lee memphis, his show is a fantastic tribute to elvis. he has got his show spot on. he is the Number one elvis tribute artist.
