The third in a series...please refresh my memory, as the Comeback one is the only other I can think of right now.
Here is a preview of the McFarlane "seventies" figure of Elvis Presley, the third in a series. This one is titled "Elvis, Live in Vegas 1970" and re-creates one of his famous concert appearances in the City of Lights.
This Elvis figure is dressed in a white fringed jumpsuit and includes a marquee base and microphone. The figure is set to hit retail in mid-October.

The seventies figure is receiving a lot of negative publicity. Many people say that the face doesn't resemble Elvis at all. Personally I quite like the little statue of Elvis in the fringe suit![]()
What are your opinions about it?

Of course the 68-figure is awesome, but I think it is to harsh to say that this one sucks - believe me I have seen much worse figures (h)
Gotta agree wholeheartedly there, for both shown figures. Maybe they're figures of Elvis impersonators?Originally Posted by WildStyle

OK OK I seem to be a very small minority here![]()
Won't mention the figure again!
Keep mentioning things like this ...There are always people who do care...I have the 68 version very good in real life Even the smallest details of the suit guitar chair etc even a guitar pick.....And for only 13 dollar....
There will be a bigger version of the 68 Elvis soon... Also heard them mentioning a aloha Elvis ....we'll see
Thankz Paulie1971
OK then Elvos! Thanks. I will keep making a stand in defense of the 70-ies figure![]()
13 dollars? That is an excellent price. Where did you get yours, I go to Memphis in September, would these be available there?
A friend of mine works at an entertainment store He brought one for me ...they sell it for only 12 euro
I think the store is called hollywood factory...In Roterdam....
You're joking! That is an amazing price!![]()
Do you believe that it will still be available over there?
yeah, maybe you're right, elvis' face is not perfect, but i think the suit is well done...my opinion, is that the suit is very detailed (nice work)
i would have to ask if their still available....,And about the resemblance , Elvis 's face is almost impossible to recreate...I never even seen a real good looking wax figure at any museum.....while other artist wax figures look like the real thing...
He's not just one in a million change million into zillion![]()
That must be it .... it's a helluva job recreating his face ....
If you wouldn't mind asking if they still have it, I'd be much obliged!![]()
He should be fairly easy to sculpt because Elvis resembles many classic statues of the old Greeks through to Michelangelo's Davidso it's not like it isn't possible......
