"Alive? Elvis?" animatronic robot moves, talks and sings just like "The King" in his "'68 Comeback Special"!

    $299.95

Elvis Presley ? the biggest-selling and most charismatic solo artist in music history ? is captured here in all his heartbreaking glory, just as he looked on television's legendary "Elvis '68 Comeback Special."

    Animatronic Robot.
"Alive? Elvis?" is a lifelike and life-size bust of Elvis Presley. State-of-the-art technologies ? multiple infrared vision sensors, stereo speakers, 10 precision motors with motion-capture facial animations, and 21st century materials ? have been used by Wowwee? to lovingly craft a robot that looks, feels, sounds and moves like a real person. Wowwee Alive? Elvis? is the first high-quality animatronic robot of any superstar ever designed for a fan's home or office.

With Alive Elvis, you can touch his soft hair and sideburns, stroke his skin, feel his 1968 black leather jacket, look into his clear baby blues, and marvel as his lips form their distinctive "curl" before he sings in that soulful voice.

The King of Rock `n' Roll.
The IR wireless remote control looks like the glittering microphone Elvis held in his '68 Comeback Special. Experience "The King" in four modes: Press "Alive" and Elvis comes to life ? checking you out and talking you up; select "Monologue" and he'll share moments from his life and times; pick "Song" to hear him sing eight of his biggest hits; or choose "Sing Along" to duet with Elvis, karaoke style (after jacking in your own microphone). What's more, you can plug in your iPod? or other audio source to enjoy your own music in sync with Elvis.

Officially licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. Plugs into a standard outlet with an included AC adapter; or runs cordless on 8 D batteries; remote runs on 3 AAA batteries (order batteries separately). Bust stands 20.25" high. 90-day warranty. Catalog, Internet and select stores only.

wow! I know it might be kind of demeaning, but I have to say I think this is one of the best inventions ever !!!!!!! wooo! Shame i can't afford one! lol
Life is beautiful, enjoy every second of it!! And don't forget to love!!

I'd love to buy something like this but I just don't think it looks like Elvis. His hair is alright but his facial features aren't right, especially his mouth. I just don't understand why people who invent things like this can't get the facial features exact. I definetly would buy it if it looked more like him.

What type of merchandise was available for fans to buy from the 50's to the 70's?

Obviously magazines, cards, decantors, what other type of things? (or too many to briefly say?). I honestly have no idea!

    Thanks Jess

I think its horrible!! And has to rank up there with the Elvis duck as being one of the worst pieces of merchandise brought out.

In my younger days I used to buy anything with Elvis on it. Not anymore. If it doesn't look like Elvis which is a rare thing, I don't even consider it. This likeness is horrible all the way down to the sideburns. The only decent likeness of Elvis I've ever seen was the world dolls released in the eighties.

Thanks Dovey, not at all what I pictured. It doesn't look like him at all and I thought it was a full figure robot - how disappointing - don't want one after all Lol

That picture of the bust is a prototype. They didn't wanted to give it away so soon, but just gave people an idea. The real and finished Elvis will be showed in the August Elvis week.

I've heard about this before. Don't they supposed to be improving it not making it more unlike Elvis?.
