The sound on the first 17 tracks really is amazing!

A wellknown song like See See Rider, really blasts out of the speakers! This is a must have for the sound on those 17 tracks for sure!

See See Rider- Love To Hear an earlier version, where he still does not have it perfect.
Hound Dog- One of the best versions released, the blues part is slightly faster.
Until It's TIme FOr You TO GO- SO MUCH BETTER THAN EOT OR MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!
Bridge Over Troubled Water- One of the best.
Lawdy Miss Clawdy- Good, not the best
I'll Remember You- Great, as always
Suspicious Minds- Better than Madison Square Garden

    Re: An American Trilogy

The sound is amazing! I like it a lot. But since "The Concert" part wasn't taken from one show, the bonus songs should have been included there in order to create a long-concert-impression.
A good release though since it compiles a very good overview of Elvis live-work in '72. Soundwise Madison Square Garden is definately disappointing and sounds awefully dull - I hope there will be an improved version from RCA/FTD.
An Afternoon in the Garden is better but not top yet. But I like the audience on that one.

    Buy it!!!!

    TCB,

    Thomas
