hey bobby.
Right now i am playing my cdr of my favorite lp of "Pot Luck"
great album of Elvis in the 1960s.![]()
I can't seem to find the thread of the similar title, so I started a new one. If somebody can locate the old one, I'll delete this one. If it's staring me in the face, I apologize.
Anyway, I'm in the middle of a second run-through of Disc 4 of Today, Tomorrow, And Forever.
How about the great take 1 of Pieces Of My Life, or the duet with Armond Morales on A Thing Called Love, or the new (ad-libbed?) verse on I'll Be Home On Christmas Day, or the especially touching I Miss You? Man, what a great CD.
Generally speaking, I'm a Disc 4 kind of guy.![]()

With so much drama going on around me in real life, I'm in a real Gospel mode, so anything gospel by Elvis makes it into the CD player, be it at home or in the car
Right now i am playing the new 'fly trouble" concert cd.
so far this isn't a bad concert of Elvis in 1975.
infact this is kinda funny really.![]()

While making dinner, I listened the 4th disc of the "Live In Las Vegas" boxset (BMG). I really enjoyed it. The live version of "My Boy" is simply stunning. Also other live versions or rare songs like "It's Midnight" and "I'm Leaving" not only enjoy me because they are so rare, but even more because they simply are beautiful![]()

Mystery Train
I have more than just 1 cd that i listen to..
My fav. are:
* Rhythm and country (this cd is my all time fav.)
* An afternoon in the garden (prob. the best Live elvis cd out there)
* Elvis: 30 #1 hits and 2nd to none ( due the fact that these cd have the best sound quality ever)
* Live in Las Vegas Boxset ( a stunning overview of Elvis in Vegas)
* Both baxter boxsets (a profile on stage) (I believe that RCA can learn from this release, better they should release something in the same style)
I love and play the cd from flashback.....for now![]()

the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference![]()

Sweet child in time
you?ll see the line
line that?s drawn between
good and bad
see the blind man
shooting at the world
bullets flying taking toll
If you?ve been a bad
oh Lord I bet you have
and you?ve not been hit
by flying led
you?d better close your eyes
you?d better bow your head and
wait for the ricochet
- Lyrics of most beautiful song in rock music ever!!!
The last few days I've been listening to all the Stax material.![]()
