Taking Care of BusinessTil we meet you again, may God bless you, Adios.
Kurt seems to have a real respect for Elvis and his talent. A few years back he did a nice tribute to Elvis on TCM where he talked about Elvis the actor and singer, it was nice to hear someone appreciate the acting talent Elvis had. (Even if most his movies gave him very little chance to show it )
I wish i had that film!! thanks

Kurt (age 10) kicking ELVIS in "It Happened at the World's Fair"
It is often said that many of our heros are formed when we are very young.
I also thought it was great that at the end of "Overboard" starring Goldie and Kurt...
"I Can't Help Falling in Love with You" was played. I don't know if Kurt had any input on that and always wondered.

It was an excellient Movie! I have always like Kurt Russell! Of course Kevin Costner isn't bad either.![]()
America has contributed four things to the world that are really unique: Baseball, Coca-Cola, Mickey Mouse and Elvis Presley. And only one of them is human - - Jerry Hopkins - "Elvis" - A Biography.
just a test
thanks for the link although you do know its elvis singing and kurt miming he was good but you cant beat jimmy ellis that man didn't have to act he just opened his mouth and out came an elvis sounding voice going to buy elvis the movie to see how good kurt really is
The movie's not bad, I don't recall that the guys ever really do Elvis performances, they are all just huge fans who are using the event in Vegas to rob the casino. Fair warning - it's a bit rough. The only time there's an Elvis performance is in the ending by Kurt, who does an excellent job. Elvis must have treated him very special for Kurt to remain a loyal fan. I would love to read interviews. I'll have to search out the EIN for one. So glad tCB is back!!
Thank you for posting the link... I really enjoyed the video. Dovey![]()
Kurt Russell imo gave the best portrayal of Elvis' life in the '79 movie "Elvis"
That was really great.. thank you for posting it.
There are more clips on youtube if you type in the search box "Kurt Russell As Elvis". They are amazing videos. You can really feel Elvis In Kurt.![]()
