Our guy had some great concert moves, especially when finishing a song, which was your favorite? Was the ending of Suspicious Minds from TTWII, his greatest finishing move, you know, where he looks like he's being electrocuted, then the fist pump followed by the open handed karate pump, thats my all-time favorite!

I have to agree with Lennon, when Elvis layed on the floor anytime he did reprise of Hurt was a treat. I like the one from Chicago 1977 Hurt too when he rolled on the stage and went all out with Polk Salad Annie.
Love to all,
Tim Dudley
The ending of Patch It Up, when he's laying on his back, with his knees folded underneath was incredible as well! Both examples from the Hurt endings were awesome also!
is any of those on utube? i never seen them only pics.
Definitely Polk Salad Annie. The way he moves and gyrates is like nothing anyone could do today in muisc without throwing their back out of place. Let's see Justin Timberlake or Beyonce move and dance like that and live to talk about it.

I like this ending, I also like one where he slides across the stage & almost does a sort of cartwheel, but I couldn't find that vid-clip.
I love his swan-like move at the end of Fever in the Aloha rehearsal, many many more
I was watching that last night, great stuff! Another favorite of mine is also from the Aloha rehearsal, at the end after Can't Help Falling In Love, he gets on one knee and gets everybody in his group (including the orchestra) to stop on a dime as he extends pumps his hands with his cape, incredible!
i love polk salad annie the moves are like thousands of electrical voltes going through his body each version was slightly different as it wasn't rehearsed each song had special moves to go with it the impersonators have a hard job trying to copy it as it was so spontainious and exausting how he did it i'll never know right into his 40's

LETS BE FRIENDS!
This ending for Patch It Up which I saw last month on YouTube. What gets me is its the ONLY Elvis song I don't like but when I saw this ending I was blown away - sheer will and muscle power raising him up!
The original has been removed from YouTube so I've uploaded the ending only, hopefully won't infringe copyright (too much!) because its so short and not the full song.

Thank you all for posting those great videos showing all of Elvis' fantastic moves. What always got me along with those is the hand and head gestures he made to his musicians to make them speed up or slow down and went into his motions along with their music. I don't know of any other musicians that were so ready and so in sync with their performer nor a performer who could direct his band, sing and move on stage all at the same time. He definitely was a master at his craft!

Have to go for the shoulder shaking Suspicious Minds too - but the Patch It Up lying on his back with legs under him is so surprising...it makes me go wow...how did he do that - I can't do that...I tried...ouch!
