    I Love The song 'just Pretend' But i have always preferred the Live version and was just wondering, what one do you like best?

    I love the way Elvis changes it and adds bits..

    The live version done in the TTWII era.There is a live version done later and thats not got the spark in it that the early one had.I think it was recorded in 1972 0r 73

    When He sings live He indeed adds some new words and feelings, so live versions are always better!!! We can feel some more special and never repiting, individual things!

    That song has always been a favorite of mine, but the live version has that something extra. When Elvis was into a song and the audience was responding- it made magic.

    I totally agree. Both versions are good, but the live is just great. Watch this, I especially like him at 2:15, & at 3:25 of course the added bonus is being able to see him as he performs.

    I love both versions but really like the live ones better. He's amazing on TTWII when he does this song.
