I havent heard any release dates for the book yet. This book has great potential if she decides not to gloss over her time with Elvis.I hope she writes an honest candid book.

Linda Thompson's autobiography is supposed to be coming out this year and in time for the 30th anniversary. Has anyone heard any information about when it is due out? I am really anticipating this one. It should be a great read. She always talks wonderful of EP and you can see she really did love him for him and not his fame. I wonder what she will have to say about the Mafia? I wonder what unseen photos she will have. It's supposed to feature some never before seen photos. Her brother and former Graceland guard Sam Thompson is participating in it too.

It is supposed to be about her life and not just about the years with EP. Form her beauty contest days and how she went through tough times and relationships and becoming a Grammy winning songwriter.

We all need to pull our heads out of our behinds & realize there
is more to the world than just US !!
IF I ever discovered that Elvis did live after 1977.....you three would be counted as some of the ones I'd never tell. IF that's against the rules...then report me. I'm tired of your silly games anyway & "look at me".
You have no idea what's going on outside your own zone.
IF Linda & many more important people than you or I are not ashamed of Elvis Presley or what anyone thinks of them.....then I must presume it's us that are more concerned about ourselves than Elvis Presley .
I FOR ONE, HOPE HE IS STILL AROUND !!

Believe it or not there is still a possibility that he did not die on August 16 but at a later date. The truth of the matter is that we will never know the truth about what happened on August 16, whether he did or didn't or how he did. It's all hearsay. No evidence has ever been proven that he did indeed fake his own death although some unanswered questions still linger. But there is also no real evidence that he did indeed pass away on that day either. And this movie will not answer neither of those theories. Unless they can come up with substantial evidence to prove he did fake his death, which I doubt seriously. Something like that would be world news. Not found in a low budget documentary.

I dream a world where man no other man
will scorn. Where LOVE will bless the earth
and peace its paths adorn...
Linda was present during the most tumultous period of Elvis' life. She could offer fascinating insights to Elvis is she chooses to.I would be curious what her life was like on a daily basis being so close to Elvis for those few years. She must have been privy to his innermost thoughts. What motivated him? What was his perception of his place in the music world at that time? She could really answer many questions.I will keep my fingers crossed.

I think l will pass on linda's book, what she has to say doesn't interest me.

Ajr, the reason I called this documentary about EP still being alive "low budget" was due to the fact that it will most likely go straight to DVD and not a theatrical release.
Presley, I would take her word over ANYTHING that the backstabbing back peddling and manipulating Memphis Mafia has to say any day of the year. Why some EP fans even support them after all the bad things and negative press they have caused is beyond me.
what ever rocks your boat!
