I agree Memphisking77 that Elvis looked his best from '68 to '72 but I would extend that to '73 as well. I loved the way he looked in the Aloha special.
Sweet Caroline, that white suit with the white hat he was wearing in the photo Goodelvisgirl posted is from the movie "The Trouble with Girls" and yes I do agree he looked fantastic in it.![]()
One of my favorites is the outfit Elvis wore to visit President Nixon!!!!!!
Diane
Ahhhhhh....that explains it. As a young person...I quit the Elvis movies pretty much after FOLLOW THAT DREAM. I still loved him...just not the movies so much. I thinkI got as bored as Elvis
did with them.

Elvis was simply a magnificant looking man and style setter.
Elvis continues to inspire millions thru out the world and his image has that ever lasting ageless appeal.
I agree with Diane, the outfit he wore when he met Nixon is OUTSTANDING, and it suited him so well.![]()
Here are some pictures of my favorite outfits he wore in the 50s , 60s and 70s.
P.S : I love that hat!
Oh , and thank you so much for the wonderful pictures everyone![]()

Only Elvis could pull off some of the lets say more adventurous outfits he wore, on a personal level he could have wore a plastic bag and he still would have made me quiver......

Another one I especially liked was that last one you posted Goodelvisgirl in the black suit and white tie - love those chain belts! I seem to prefer him in either white or black rather than colours.![]()
