Paul Lichter is a well known Elvis collector and has written a couple books about Elvis. If this is the same guy he is pretty legit I have read.
DO NOT TRUST PAUL LICHTER!
He is a charlatan in every sense of the word!![]()

thanks for your replys i just wanted to make sure because i bought 2 Elvis autograph before and they were fake from somewhere else i just thought it might be the real thing with him being well known

Talk about opposing advice. I have had no personal dealings with him but do know he wrote "The Boy who Dared to Rock" and "Elvis in Hollywood" Also saw him on Geraldo Rivera in the 80s a couple of times. He had a lot of his personal Elvis collection with him. He seemed to be knowledgeable but as to his character I can only go by how he seemed on the show. I think anything like that should have some certificate of aunthenticity as proof.
I can honestly say from past dealings with the guy that he is NOT the best person to do business with.
I would issue a caution, and say "buyers beware".![]()
"Don't tamper with the property of the U.S. Male"
Im sure I read that never met Elvis and is not well thought of on another message board.Maybe do some research?/
thanks everyone i was going to get it but he as some more for sale singed in gold pen i read somewhere it had not been invented back then

it looks very shakey, maybe traced,i wouldnt buy it,,,,in the 1970s they had flair pens and bic ball point pens, dont know if they had sharpies ,if he had gold autographs in his collection, this might be forged too,,,,
Serious collector's avoid Litcher like the plague.I suggest you follow their lead.

Well how time changes people or is it people change with the times. Until this thread, as I said earlier, Lichter seemed legit. He was into buying and selling Elvis items long before Elvis died and he wrote one of the books before he died. In the fan clubs of the 70s he had a good reputation and was spoke of highly. After Elvis's death he was on Geraldo and was considered an expert on Elvis and Elvis items. So I must assume he has changed drastically since that time, to have such a low rating among collectors & fans here.
I am not what you would call a "serious collector" so I have had very few dealings for things like this. I get a lot of things given to me by well meaning family and friends but its the music and videos that to me are important. Call me old fashioned but buying anything over the internet seems a risky proposition at best. If I were wealthy it might be a different matter butI'm not. 2 kids thru college has a way of making your priorities for you.

Ihave been to his website all his collection of signatures are pure rubbish, this guy is purely interested in $$$$ avoid him as best you can, drop me a line and i will guide you to a real signature.
Like I said its funny how the allmighty dollar seems to change people over time.
Stay Away!!!
