Maybe because it was the cover of "As Recorded at MSG" album... very confusing anyway and I don't understand why they couldn't put a picture of the actual shows on the cover... A mystery..

I think you're right. But an instance like Graceland should know better. You would think there are working people overthere who know their stuff, but it seems that if you have any knowledge about Elvis it would be impossible to work at Graceland.

The worst lack of Elvis knowledge I saw was from George Klein, when he dated a picture of Elvis, Priscilla, and Minnie May "69 or 70" when Elvis didn't have sideburns and Proscilla was clearly pregnant.

Of course it's called the Madison Squaare Garden suit. It appeared on the live From Madison Square Garden album back in 1972. That's the way several of the suits got their names. Nothing wrong with that... Today suit, Now suit, Burning Love suit, Way Down suit. The fans named the suits and the fans rule. I will never believe the suits had names back when they were made. I know someone who worked at Frank Page studios back in '72 which is where they actually tailored the suits. There is a lot of misinformation out there.
