Affiance with Elvis??
Hello,
I read that a woman called Tura Satana said that she had been affianced with Elvis. Is that true?
I haven't heard that name before and I don't know anything about an affiance except the one with Priscilla.

Call me ignorant; but I didn't know what the word meant; so I looked it up.

As far as I know; only Ginger has said Elvis asked her to marry him .{besides Priscilla} Sorry, I've never heard that name either....

Tura Satana is one of the genuine legends of 60s pop culture. She was Varla in Russ Meyer's camp classic movie Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
Check it out if you've never seen it. It's absolutely brilliant, as are most of Meyer's works.
Tura and Elvis got it on during the filming of King Creole - that info's been around for years. But as for an engagement ... no way.

I'm so sorry, I didn't know the word either, as English is not my first language. I looked it up in a German-English dictionary.
At the minute I wouldn't put too much weight on that one
I've been an Elvis fan since I was about 15 (17 years) and I've never once heard her name mentioned in any relation to him, but I'm by no means anywhere near an expert, so anyone, feel free to prove me wrong
When I see some sort of proof she dated him for that length of time, then I'll gladly eat my words

Her story is true.She was an exotic dancer when Elvis dated her I think.Just a fling.This was in the early years if Im not mistaken.In 56 or 57?H ealso dated another stripper by the name of Tempest Storm around that time.
