Thinking about getting the book Elvis Fashion by Julie Mundy.
Anybody have it and could you tell me is it worth buying?

Elvis Fashion is a must for any serious Elvis fan.Some of the highlights for me are the double page spread of the famous gold tuxedo jacket [gold lame]as worn on the cover of 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong cd.

Also included are the gorgeous red wine jacket worn in the movie Spinout.If you like Elvis's jumpsuits there are plenty here,plus jackets,scarves,and the super cool white and brown check boots worn at the Hilton Hotel press conference in 1972.[and the white jacket he was wearing]

If you enjoy the jumpsuits and love the clothes of the King then this book is for you,also included:Elvis's black tuxedo with paisley design worn when he married Priscilla,Tigerman jumpsuit from 74,the stunning Madison Square Garden press conference jacket with silk lining designed by Bill Belew,the American Eagle jumpsuit worn in 74 as featured on the cover of the FTD release LIVE IN L.A and on page 181 the fantastic cream colored elephant corduroy jacket Elvis wore when he arrived by helicopter at Hawaii -seen on the Aloha DVD.

Many more outfits are included, but I love this book, Elvis sure had some style, buy it! you won't be dissapointed

I agree Franny, I bought the book a couple of years ago and found it very interesting, informative about his choice of clothing style and different from any other book put out on Elvis. Nice pictures too.

But be prepared that it's only scratching the surface. Although this book has been made and written with good intentions by its writer it is what EPE wants you to know and it's full of "mistakes". But the pictures are marvelous.

Nope, I heard you on crawler , when you & Juan were giving us the pleasure of hearing you.
Another time, another name ..... I missed you guys when you wandered off .
Many things changed after Sue left us.
I've never figured out how to get on PalTalk.
Keep singing, you do an excellent job & it seems to come easy for you.

Thank you again Ajr, yes I remember. We were able to put songs on the site back then. Well I still sing. Now on PalTalk in several rooms. If you ever come around installing this program, it isn't that difficult. If you like I can mail you some instructions.

And you are right. After Sue left things weren't the same anymore. Not that she was "Elvis Crawler" but her precence was important.

Thanks guys for all your comments. It sounded so good that I bought it and it really is beautiful. The photos are amazing. If anybody gets the chance to buy it then do as you won`t be dissapointed.
