Ok, this is kinda off topic and Elvis related. This morning the college that I go to sent me an award in the mail for having a good GPA. After the excitement worn off I noticed some letters lightly in the background. They were "TCB". I thought that they meant something else but... underneath the letters it said, "Taking Care of Buisness". If my mom wasn't so possessive of my school awards I would have drawn a little lightening bolt on it and make it "Taking Care of Business in a flash"!

Once I watched a danish TV program, now I don`t remember what it was about, but the host finished the program by using both TCB and TLC in her speach. She didn`t tell where it came from, but I thought about Elvis right away when she said it and I think that she must have been an Elvis fan herself....
Actually, the expression and abbreviation "TCB" was not created by Elvis.
It was - and still is - relatively common slang, and has been around since the sixties.
