John Travolta is famous but not that famous. Half the people into him now don't even know about, Welcome Back Kotter or The Boy in The Plastic Bubble. The movie Grease will probably go down as a classic and maybe even Saturday Night Fever but other than that, there really isn't anything he did that's lasting.
He is in no where close to Elvis. I'd put The Fonz as being more famous than John Travolta. yaeeehhhhh..Sit On It, JOHN!

Hes a scientologist. The first amendment of the U.S Constitution allows for freedom of expression. Therefore, he can say hes as famous as Elvis and I can say that he isnt and that any organisation that promotes division as in celebs and joe public, is exactly that - an organisation.

Although - I hear if youre a registered church you get tax breaks, surely something founded on the ravings of a sci fi writer woulden't operate along those lines!

the true test of how famous you are is how many people remember you after your gone and Elvis has proven that for 30yrs, since his death nobody can stop talking about him or wanting more of him until you can do that john,sally,ricky or whoever! That hurts dont it John? lol
