A Real Tribute To Elvis

I know Impersonators/ETA's have a bad reputation, and i agree most of the deserve it,

However a man - being Doug Church, i am going to have the plesure of peformring with in the same show (my own music not elvis stuff) is a really great tribute,

Being a "Professional" singer myself, i really rate this guy, he is a excelent singer in his own right,

What do you think of him???

Please no comments like he should get a life etc, as he has better vocal abilites than probably everyone on here,

I heard a Christmas song by him a few years ago and it was one Elvis had never recorded - I thought it was Elvis. Since then I have heard other things by him and must admit he has the voice down (IMO) better than any impersonator I have heard. Some songs(but not all) he is so close its scary.
If most sounded as good as him I would have no qualms about impersonators.

Im not into impersonactors at all but vocally this son@#$ can do it! at least 70's Elvis, he doesn´t look like him at all, he should just be himself singing like Elvis, no need of jumpsuits and all that, but yes as a singer he´s good.

P.S. I can do James Burton solo on My Baby Left Me 100% better... LOL.

My wife saw him fairly recently in Indiana while back home for the holidays.We are from the same area he mainly performs in.Weve seen him many times.His vocal ability is better than many.He also does impressions on many other celebrities.I would say however he has passed his prime.Im not trying to be hurtfull but he has lost a lot over the last few years.From the standpoint of working the crowd he doesnt do that very well.He's not that personable on stage.Overall he still gives a decent show.

Hey, Doug Church is really Good, We have Seen him this year In the Essex, UK...AND A Really a nice Person, not full of him self, and Wow a Great Voice too, we had a great Time....

Yea, Doug is a great guy and even though past couple years we lost touch because of are doing shows at the same time. He helped me a lot vocal and projecting my voice and I'm forever greatful to him. He does awesome Red Foxx "HEY DUMMY" and few others.

Yeah I really think doug is great. And I agree that he shouldn't wear the jumpsuits. And he shouldn't sing the songs elvis sang. He should just sing new songs and try to get em right. He's a great tribute because of the new songs he sings.
