most disgusting thing ever -keith richard

okay peeps this is not about elvis - i just thought u all would freak out when u read it-- Keith Richards says he snorted his father's ashes mixed with cocaine
LONDON (AP) - Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has acknowledged consuming a raft of illegal substances in his time.
In comments published Tuesday, he said he snorted his father's ashes mixed with cocaine. "The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father," Richards was quoted as saying by British music magazine NME.
"He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared. . . . It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."
Richards' father, Bert, died in 2002 at the age of 84.
Richards, 63, one of rock's legendary wild men, told the magazine that his survival was the result of luck, and he advised young musicians against trying to emulate him.

"I did it because that was the way I did it. Now people think it's a way of life," he said.

"I've no pretensions about immortality," he added. "I'm the same as everyone . . . just kind of lucky.

"I was number one on the 'Who's Likely To Die' list for 10 years. I mean, I was really disappointed when I fell off the list." neway i posted the article here above in case the link goes dead http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/music_keith_richardshes one messed up dude freakin sick dope headoh my im feeling a littledizzy-after reading that im gonna be sick-ick

Thanks for the warning elvisfan4ever! I'll be specially attentive next time I'm taking a cremation service and if I see him lurking at the back with a rolled up bill I'll hurry things up! And people still mock and laugh at Elvis, sheesh!

A man of 58 years snorting his dads ashes why on earth would you even consider it? I wonder who else knew and did they offer to get him some psychiatric help

    Keef

    Hilarious!

Yes, it's in very poor taste, but if Keef says his dad would've laughed at it, then that makes it fine by me.

The Rolling Stones ... still the greatest rock band ever, even after 40-plus years!

LOL. In some cultures it is considered okay to eat the ashes of the deceased. Check this out:

"Funerary cannibalism is the practice of eating the remains. This may be for many reasons: for example to partake of their strength, to spiritually "close the circle" by reabsorbing their life into the family or clan, to annihilate an enemy, or due to pathological mental conditions. The Yanomami have the habit of cremating the remains and then eating the ashes with banana paste."

Well now, there was a new news flash this morning about this in which Keith claimed it was all a joke...........one of his "off-the-cuff" things which sounds most likely to me. Diane
