Colin, Elvis often had his arms around Debra Paget......so near yet so far away from the kiss he yearned for.

Back in the 50s it was reported Debra was more interested in Howard Hughes...or her mother was..on her behalf
Debra was far more voluptuous than Dolores, who was only innocently beautiful.

I haven't watched the movie, so I don't know if there was/wasn't an on-screen kiss, but I do remember seeing publicity still where he's definitely made contact, although she doesn't look too thrilled, IMO. I believe the photo is in the Images of Elvis book.
