When it was time to leave Elvis entered another little room which had a large mirror on the wall, this room must have been where he got ready for his shows.
When we met Elvis he was dressed all in black and his hair was combed back, his shirt was open and he was wearing a claw medallion round his neck, which I picked up to look at, Elvis just smiled at me, he didn't mind.
He spoke really soft, you had to listen carefully to him. When he came to sign autographs for us he asked me my name and would you credit it, I could not remember it. He gave me wonderful smile and said ?You must have a name?, and then I just said ?Oh ? Rita? and Elvis replied with a laugh in his voice and said ?Rita, are you sure,? to which I said ?Yes? so then he signed my menu ?With Love Rita, Elvis Presley?. This menu can be seen on the Memorabilia photo section.
I don't think there is many fans that have actually sat on Elvis' bed! I couldn't resist doing that though!
