I read the sticky at the "Off-topic" section that told me that there was an offical "hello" sticky at the Elvis Presley forum but I can't find it anywhere.Well anyways, I just wanted to formally say hello to the community. I've been a fan of Elvis for almost a year and the way that I discovered him is actually quite funny. It all began when I was watching a Youtube video which had the song "Oh, Pretty Woman" and the maker of that video listed the song as "Pretty Woman-Elvis" and we all know it was sung by Roy Orbison, but nieve little ole me didn't and actually thought it was sung by Elvis. (And didn't find out until 2 months later.) So I thought to myself, maybe there is more to Elvis than "you ain't nothing but a hound dog" and bell-bottomed jumpsuits. After that, I searched up Elvis videos and well, the rest is history. So a long story short, me discovering Elvis was the result of a mistaken identity.

Welcome fellow New Yorker. I am in Manhattan and what about you?
"When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was a hero in the movie. So every dream that I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times. I learned very early in life that without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend; without a song. So I keep singing a song." - Elvis Presley
Welcome, I always enjoy a good story, and yours was a great one! Elvis has a way of getting under your skin.
Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go
