    Elvis Large!

"The King" by Jim Piazza is now our LARGEST Elvis Presley book, it is approx., 17 by 14 inches!!!

We bought it at T-Max but NOT by credit card

There is a VERY good review of the massive book by Nigel on EIN.
I will read the book shortly

    We are busy

It's not that expensive, just check out the prises on Amazon, but it's ridiciously big, and mainly photos and empty spaces.

For those that like picture books, this might be worth buying - for the rest of us it ain't

Oh I don't know about that
Most Elvis fans collect both picture books and the more intellectual and informative Elvis books also. The cost hardly matters

Some people become Elvis fans because of impersonators......imagine that

    Joe, yes I could.

I saw this book at the local Hastings store, but I couldn't look through it because it was on the top shelf - about 2 feet above my reach! couldn't find a person to get it down for me - that's what happens when you shop on Monday mornings! Good photo, you're right it is massive!

Yes Lisarose, the book is quite a size............I could put legs on the book and it would serve as a real Coffe Table

We have the White version. A bargain at 29 Eurous, new in it's transparent wrapper.

Other great Elvis picture books like those of Alfred Wertheimer's are a bonus for Elvis fans. Most Elvis officianados praise them

Of course All the Elvis books are secondary to the music.... Even Ernst Jorgensen's and Ger's.

We didn't need the books in the early days, the exciting Elvis music was quite enough .........and expensive for poorly paid teenage fans like us in the 50s.

In fact I think I had all the Elvis music I needed before I started aquiring a great many of the must have books.

    MUST have books?
Not really. The best of Elvis's music stands alone without need of explanation...............it hits our ears not our eyes.
