I have a question

In TTWII a lady in thr front row gave elvis a picture. he joked about it and said it looked like engleburt humperdink. my question is when he sighned the picture she asked him something and he replyed.(i cant do that sorry) does anyone know what the question was she asked elvis?

Well, there's one thing I dont have in my mind yet.
So, she showes Elvis the Picture and askes him to sign it. But doesn't he take it with him to hand it up to charley?? I can't remember, but if that's the case, she lost everthing :-P
Or did she want to have another thing signed?

About the "I'm sorry, I can't do that..." thing:
I think she wanted to take a picture of him and her, but since that wasn't allowed by the International Hotel he might have said that..

Oh yeah, if you turn up the speaker you can clearly hear anyone else asking for an autograph..
I can't remember hearing Bahija's voice on TTWII SE. And i think the subtiltles are wrong, cause they say I can't to that, i'm sorry, but you can clearly hear "cant do them!"

Good work on finding out what was actually said there Ale . I've often wondered the same thing, and now know what was said. Also thanks for posting the video .

After watching the clip, I noticed that he asked her "Do you want me to keep this one?" & he slides the photo from underneath something. It seems to be a framed drawing, so she probably had one for him, & had him autograph something else. On the other question, don't know what she asks him, but I did notice his voice gets very soft - sincerely regretful & kind.

Thanks to all I don't know if what I've said it's right but this is what I've always understood...I think people around the girl started to ask him autographs for themselves and ovbiously Elvis had to say them NO, otherwise he would have never gone on with the show

So I don't think they are asking about autographes, how can he answer to that like he did then?

Yea it could be, but I've heard recordings of people in the audience yelling song titles and Elvis just started doing the song like "Return to Sender," "Sweet Caroline," and "The Wonder of You."
