I agree, Lisa even said herself that it was untrue.
The problem is she couldn`t make the relationship work with Nicholas along with all the other guys because she is basically a spoilt brat.
The trouble with Lisa Marie is that she has an attitude problem and even though she is nearly a fourty-year old woman she still acts like a rebellious teenager who thinks the world owes her something.
Her language is appaulling along with her manners.
She needs to grow up.
Elvis would be ashamed.

Have you meet her to know all this info? i dont understand people that say all this if they have never even meet her.

By your definition, I could not possibly offer a (good) opinion on Elvis because I never met him? Do you have an opinion on George Bush? Michael Jackson? Weird Al Yankovic?

Of course I've never met Lisa! And I have no wish to. She comes across as a pain in the *** in interviews, and I don't like her attitude. She may be a lovely person in real life.

One doesn't need to meet a celebrity to have an opinion of them and how they come across in public.

And I do agree with the other post: Elvis would be ashamed of some of the stuff she's done and said. (Just to be clear: I can only surmise what Elvis would've thought as I never met him! Ugh!)

If this forum is set up to discuss opinions about Elvis (whom none of us met) then everyone's individual ideas and opinions about Lisa are just as valid or worthy of discussion.

I quite agree it is a forum for discussing opinions but not shoving your own down other peoples throats to the exclusion of their own right to express theirs. If we disagree we disagree but some people have gotten into a habit of blasting others. If wild_in_the_country wants to quote an Elvis lyric then where better than here without someone using it it as an excuse to use sarcasm to lend their postings some patina of authority?
There's an old sporting addage "play the ball not the man" if the "ball" here is Priscilla, Nigel and latterly Lisa-Marie, fine, but theres no need or excuse for belittling others if they don't agree with you. As another hardly original saying would put it ...

I'm always very amazed about the hate feelings people can have towards people they have never met (and didnt commit any war crimes, b.e.). And not only towards Lisa-marie or Priscilla, but also general in live. I'm not really amused by Prisicilla either but she is no interest to me, so I dont bother who she is dating. She is a grown woman. And people who are talking bad about Elvis's daughter without any solid ground, they have never met her.... I wonder how Elvis would think about that... If someone talks bad about my daughter (without any knowledge of the real person she is)... mm I dont think I would like them...

It is heartwarming that even though it is uncomfortable to reply to the negative comments, as no-one wants to feel like they are stirring up trouble, that this is happening. I thought this was a special place, I think it is.

I say this as I care. It is sad that some people project what is missing in their lives onto other people whom they don't know, by running them down. To sit back and NOT say anything, isn't right either. To explain, like is happening here, and to give another point of view in a lovely manner, I find heartwarming to read.

We should be evolving into loving human beings, accepting others, not the opposite.

How would any parent feel if their "baby" was run down by others who don't know them? Who don't even stop to think of the circumstances or how hurtful it is?

Upset, angry, horrified. That is how I would feel, to put it mildly. I'm sure all would, if they truely loved their children from their hearts, which I hope they would.

If they put themselves in another man's shoes it would help them to decide what they are saying is something they should say, or something they should keep to themselves, as an inappropriate thought that was about themselves.

Enjoy Elvis' music, it gave him pleasure to give, he deserves it, he is special.

The good news is that TCB World is installing some showers so that everyone can calm down!!!!

I often wonder if we should delete any thread pertaining to Priscilla and LMP as they always descend into chaos and ill feeling.

I am closing this thread due to the verbal tennis, I would kindly ask that no new thread is opened in the foreseeable future. (and no, this does not mean forever, just until people can be civil and cooled down).
