I agree srj1967, it wouldn`t of been a loss. What has she ever done for the fans, oh I forgot she sold Graceland to CKX.
She refers to Elvis fans as "creepy" and never comes to Elvis`s birthday celebrations or Elvis week except for a walk on at Elvis the concert once every five years.
Yeah we should really be grateful.

Lighten up, will you? If Elvis had married someone else, there'd be another completely different child we'd be talking about.

I say "no loss" because I find Lisa Marie a most unimpressive human being; not as bad as her mother, but irritating nonetheless.

As for her music, "no loss" would be an understatement if she were no longer here ...

Don't believe a word of it.

I've heard many things about Priscilla lately and if there is a love interest I can guarantee you it isn't him, i'll give you a hint, he's an artist, and that's if there is a love interest.

And people would have never been able to work right through the Kings door.

    greetings
I have to disagree with you.
It?s Priscilla who would be forgotten for more than 30 years now if it wasn?t for Elvis. Thanks to her "great nose for business" Elvis? legacy and image is mostly a joke. Compare it what they have done with john Lennon or Frank Sinatra, their image is dealed with taste and class. Yoko Ono is not very liked by Lennon fans either but at least he is not a joke and she was his real widow...

The crappy products bearing Elvis' image were around long before Priscilla was involved. It goes all the way back to the 50's where it all began.Elvis has always been a marketing machine for somewhat tacky merchandise.EPE is a business first and foremost that needs money.I would place the blame with the fans instead of EPE and Priscilla. If crap didnt sell they wouldnt produce it.It's hard to complain about it while people keep buying the stuff. There is a reason Elvis is always ranked at the top of dead celebrity earnings.I dont remember Sinatra or Lennon ever hitting the top spot.Im sure their estates wish they could market them like Elvis.Im not saying I agree with it but it's always been that way.Elvis also had a role in his "tarnished" image to tell the truth. He was his own worst enemy in later years.

Hi jak I wasn?t talking about merchandising. I was talking about who would be forgotten by now and I am positive wich one of them would. I know EPE is a business but I know too that Elvis where he is now doesn?t need the money they get from all that crap, neither it does any good to his image. Elvis could have been his worst enemy in later years as you said but you know he wasn?t ok due to what he was into. What I can?t understand is what was in that woman?s head apart from money all these years... maybe she has been taking drugs since he died and that explains it all.
The thing is if Elvis estate were controlled by other hands we would say :
    - Priscilla who ???? can?t remember her...
And still the whole world would know who Elvis is without even have to say Presley.

No person seems to care about lisa?s feelings, maybe it is VERY hard for her in front of all the fans?
I know I would, maybe even till this day her fathers death still haunts her?

I have had the chance to talk with lisa one on one for 50mins and I found her to be a very nice and charming lady.
I think people need to let her live her own life how she wants, she owes the fans NOTHING

Think about how many people still make money from their association with Elvis all those years ago. It's amazing actually. In the Elvis world you have so many people who are considered minor celebrities just because they knew Elvis. You could say the same for Lisa also I think. Her chances of getting exposure on her own if her last name wasnt Presley would not be so great.Elvis certainly had an everlasting impact and influence on those who knew him.

"Her chances of getting exposure on her own if her last name wasnt Presley would not be so great."

Maybe the Presley name is a hindrance more than anything to Lisa.

Not to mention her almost complete lack of any musical talent!

Lisa Marie (along with Julian Lennon, Zowie Bowie, Nora Jones and a whole lot of others) prove that musical talent is truly a learned skill rather than genetic!

Having the name of Presley has given her wealth, noteriety and a chance to pursue her singing career. She is able to live a life that we can only dream about because she is a Presley.A real hindrance would be getting up every morning and going to work to punch a clock somewhere while dreaming of being famous.

Course in all this I think we shouldn't forget who "made" Priscilla who she is since she was a 14 year old girl. Who made Lisa-Marie who she is up until she was nine. Elvis loved them both, and if he loved Lisa-Marie thats enough for me to hold her in some respect.
I don't think any of us could even come close to imagining what it must be like to be either of them. Freaky fans, 20% hating them, 20% adoring them and the rest always interested to some degree or another. Poor Lisa-Marie, when she married Nicholas Cage and found out she was to him the best piece of memorabilia he could find.
Neither of them is perfect, neither was Elvis and neither, certainly, are any of us.

    Gee, that's original ...

I never suggested Lisa owes the fans anything.

If this forum is set up to discuss opinions about Elvis (whom none of us met) then everyone's individual ideas and opinions about Lisa are just as valid or worthy of discussion.

Lisa is a pain in the ***, IMO. This opinion would only be disrespectful if I actually said it to her face. And if she ever happened to ask me directly what I think of her, I'd tell her straight up. I couldn't give a rat's *** about her feelings either: the only people's feelings I care about are those people I actually know.

Oh, and Nicholas Cage never made that comment about Lisa being the ultimate piece of Elvis memorabilia either; it is an unsubstantiated rumour.

Has it ever crossed your mind you might like lisa as a person if you ever got to meet her. how can you call her a pain in the *** if you dont know her?

I agree, Lisa even said herself that it was untrue.
The problem is she couldn`t make the relationship work with Nicholas along with all the other guys because she is basically a spoilt brat.
The trouble with Lisa Marie is that she has an attitude problem and even though she is nearly a fourty-year old woman she still acts like a rebellious teenager who thinks the world owes her something.
Her language is appaulling along with her manners.
    She needs to grow up.
    Elvis would be ashamed.
