The australian guy on here, as some of you know.... his name is Dale,
hes a very good mate of mine, Yesterday he had a motorcycle in the U.K
basicly he is in a coma, Dales mum says, he's not in a good, way, but from what can be woredk out, he'll live, hopefully with no long term effects. but it's going to be a long very hard road to full recovery
he was hit by a van and is in a coma with a broken arm and broken ribs, brainscan shows a bit of swelling atm as well... they dont think there is pernament damage atm but this worries the hell out of me

I'm Sorry Hear it, You have to be there for him, let him know Your there for him, he have long few weeks, he will might out that coma, and after that long road be ok, he not be same person. it's how the damgle is in the brain.
He will in my prayers every day. And You will In my prayer too.

Very sorry to hear that, please assure Dale when you can, Dale's family, and yes you his friends, that I will be keeping him in my thoughts and prayers. he is in chelmsford hospital in intensive care, hooked up with a breathing machine and a heart rate monitor. he currently has a badly broken arm, a broken rib and bruised lungs,
they tried to bring him round twice but he is still in too much of a state to become concious again
Sorry to hear about Dale being in such a bad way, Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone concerned at this time.

UPDATE,
dale is awake, moving his legs around, and his eyes opening and he focusing
he is very doozy and slow but at least he is responding now.
all the drugs have been taken off and so has the neck colar, He is like a semi mute at the moment, he had a bottle of coke with a straw in and he drunk it,,,, himself!!!
his hand was all bandaged up to stop him pulling his drip wires out,

Great news. I had my near misses on motorbikes, hit by a an MG sports car one year , and later by a van. Was very lucky. Just scratches.

Yesterday dale was moved from intensive care into a normal ward, but as the **** keeps trying to get out of bed and escape he might be readmited to intensive care just so they can make sure he doesnt escape
His brother managed to have a few little conversations with him yesterday,
his voice is very slured and doesnt open his mouth much but he is improving.
