This is a special jumpsuit for me... I like it, Elvis looks good in it. El calendario (del Sol) Azteca is a symbol of my country's culture. I feel really honored about Elvis wearing this sun.

Let the stars fade and fall, and I won't care at all, as long as I have you.

Ya'll can shoot me if you want to, but I personally think that this is one of the worst jumpsuit designs Elvis wore. It seemed to only make him look much bigger than what he was.
*ducks from objects being thrown in his general direction*.
The belt on this suit is it real gold on it?![]()

No Tommy, there's no real gold on it. Mostly they used a layer of gold over silver.
And Tony, I go along with you. Although it's a beautiful design It didn't become Elvis good. Even in 1974 when he didn't had put on the weight he carried in 1977 it made him look more heavy.
Thank you Leroy!![]()
I knew you would see this and help out. One of our members elvis fan 1976 had asked me this question yesterday. Thank you for your help and for always being here!

Man,I just work here!(Elvis 68')
anyone know if this is correct
originally made in 1974 with 3(4 i've read some places) buttons
laid to rest
taken out again and made a second copy with 2 buttons?
has anyone when the 2 button was worn and likewise for the 3(4) button?
anyone have pictures showing the difference?
Hi sabbath, I think we can finally lay to rest the myth that there were two Mexican Jumpsuits forever, when Leroy meeet with Gene Docette the designer for the majority of Elvis' Jumpsuits he clearly stated that there was only ever one Jumpsuit made and that by the end of 1977 it was completely worn out by it's extended usage by Elvis, this would explain why there were buttons missing and when the suit was repaired they were never replaced.Originally Posted by sabbath

I agree and it's nice to know I'm not in the boat alone on this one. The first time I saw him in it, it made me cringe. The design is beautiful but it doesn't wear well.Originally Posted by Tony Trout
