this being the last suit he wore, i have to say that Elvis wasn't really as big or over weight as been known, i believe pictures and Tv will make anybody look heavier anyway. but although the suit didn't help his look, he really wasnt any bigger then most even more then most at his age then. it was that he was bigger then people knew him to be from the aloha tv show and before. His waist line was only at biggest a size 38" but compared to the aloha show where he even lost normal weight and wore a smaller suit he had a 32" waist. he was a normal 34-36. So when he appeared on tv with a 38" waist and his face had puffed out it made it look worse then it actually was. look at the guitar compared to his size and he's not much bigger then when he was in some '73 pics when he gianed his normal weight back after the aloha show.
