Eternal second winds.
The last couple of months, I really was into his gospel music, astounded by how great he performed those tracks. Now the past couple of weeks, it's the incredible Memphis sessions of 69, which lead me to his country music, which I haven't been into for awhile. I listen, and I shake my head in amazement of his genius and god given talent. The man could do it all, and brilliantly. Next week, it might be back to the rock & roll of the fifties, it never ends!
Eternal second winds.

Yes that magic voice of Elvis Presley has us spellbound.
One of these days we really must extend the list of singers that actually influenced Elvis.
I wasn't particularly interested in music as a young boy but I did hear all the great voices and lesser voices that were recorded either on the radio or at the cinema.
I'm sure it would have been the same for Elvis except he was probably paying far more attention.
Elvis' voice always had a beatiful sound to it. Even in those songs that some people say were off etc.
Yes Sam, and even his speaking voice. Hence the success of the "Elvis Sails" ep on the music chartsOther interviews too.
