    What year and where did Elvis sing that song?

    I was wandering what year Elvis sang The Girl of my best Friend?Did he sing it in the studio just for the album or for a movie that song just came to my mind this morning LOL!!!!If anyone knows anything about the song let me know thank's.

    It comes from the album "Elvis is Back" 1960. It was also recorded by Elvis sound-a- like, Ral Donner in 1961.

    It was 4 April 1960 and recorded the same day as Are You Lonesome Tonight, I Gotta Know and Such a Night, among others. The previous day he had nailed It's Now or Never, Fever and Like a Baby. Not a bad couple of days work really
