LOL what a loser. This guy is terrible I hate all his songs. I can't stand his whiney voice. You can't be cool like Elvis buddy not with that Nerd Rock.

    Noel

Perhaps Noel is taller than Elvis was? But that would be about it.

Moderators, I'd suggest you prepare just in case, though.

If Noel ever does get bigger than Elvis, make sure you're ready to change this to the Noel-world.com site and have a new display template at hand!

The man has some serious delusions of grandeur!

Because Noel is living now he thinks he is bigger than Elvis. Noel is the Devil In Disguise.
With his past he would not last that long. He might write all his songs but he still hasn't got the charisma that Elvis has.

I have always liked Oasis and Noel, I would never take him seriously, I think he just says these things to get a rise out of people

Admittedly, I haven't had much exposure to Noel, and being from Australia, I probably don't get his sense of humour. (I can learn those things, lol, but not from him!). However, when he visited here years ago, he was the rudest, crudest, most self important "person" I have ever witnessed being interviewed. He lost me then.

I heard some years ago Noel made a similar claim, in regards to Oasis becoming bigger than the Beatles. I laughed then too. No band can duplicate the success the Beatles had in the 60's, or how they influenced popular music since. Same case with Elvis, no solo artist can ever seriously say they are the biggest of all time. Elvis's impact pushed rock and roll into the mainstream, the aftershocks of that earthquake fifty years ago can still be felt. Elvis and the Beatles are the two measuring sticks every singer or band uses to measure themselves. It is extremely egotistical for someone like Noel to say he would be bigger than Elvis. I used to like Oasis too, but they never impressed me enough to warrant such lofty comparisons.

Well done Noel! On the other hand it makes me feel sorry for him in case he was serious NOT

Oasis will never be bigger than the Beatles or Elvis. The Beatles in the 60's could draw the largest crowds ever seen. I don't think Oasis could do that.

I think Noel knows that too, it's just his sense of humour. Noel knows that if he says something like this it will hit the headlines

In a way he is still copying his hero John Lennon, Lennon said the Beatles were bigger than God Noel is saying he could be bigger that Elvis.

Noel did an interview with Michael Parkinson a little while back, he is a very witty guy his brother on the other hand is a complete tosser.

Noel will never be more famous than Elvis even if he cleaned up his own act. All he has done is record his own songs and nothing else. Anyway I don't like his music or the Oasis records.

Actually, Lennon was misquoted in the 60s saying the Beatles were bigger than Jesus, not God.

And he didn't even say that: what he meant was that, in terms of the energy and effort young people were spending, the Beatles were more important to the kids than Jesus. And he was right ...

100% agreed lennon was right but was vilified for the analogy, just as Noel is now being vilified for his comment even though he could not have been serious, even he knows that he is not as big as Elvis or ever will be.
