Great photos Tommy. My favorite color of the Phoenix suits.

This suit is by far the most sleek looking on him next being the light blue fireworks suit from '71, the design is there but blends not to overwhelm the suit itself. as far as the second belt , i think it was just never used. All of the phoenix suits had 2 belts made and some made zebra design made reverse slant or for the silver and black suits was black on white and white on black. and each second belt made for each and all had different belt buckle themes. it was just to give varieity i think, some worn more than others, as also couple of suits from '73 were also one day or never photographed on stage but are on display now, which i think is the case for this second belt.

None of these or any of his suits ever had a single sequen put on them . the embroidered suits had thread embroidrery and punch on crystal style colored stones to match the thread color with rim sets like the suits from '73 to accent the suit so it was'nt just a flat looking design. look at the close up photos on the indian feather suit, they are hand punched crystal colored stones. The Arabian suit, Sundial suit and '77 never worn light blue suit had tiny mirrors also alone with the crystal studs. I have an Arabian belt from b&K and it is the same as Elvis's belt with the little mirrors on it. It is amazing art work to say the least.
