Red face from lyrics to poems

Well i found a funny and an enjoyable way to create poems using lyrics. All you need to do is to pick sentences from the lyrics of Elvis' songs -i do pick them randomly- and put them all together.
Here is an ex. for it.

That's What You Get For Loving Me

Just a little bit of green
Filled with honey to the top
And here under the spell of evening
Grown-ups are the biggest kids i've found

I hoped and i prayed that someday
Someone i really could care for
Someone to look for my dream with me
Brings fame and fortune my way

If i found a lucky penny
Look around and you will see
All the greatest things in life are free
And there's the sky where the sea should be

If i'm your clown i'll steal the show
    I'd be a millionaire
    It brings no sorrow
And i'll be here in sunhine or in sorrow

And while i can think, while i can talk
That's where you'll find me hanging around
All through streets pared with gold
I don't care if i spend my gold

Like the sweet song of a choir
    Tell me i'm doing fine
You give me hope and consolation
    Even though we're miles apart

    A soft hearted man
He sounds too blue to fly
    Looking for a friendly smile
On me he will still keep on eye

Dreams can make the sun feel much brighter
I could never share this feeling with another
    You know somehow forever
    And ever, and ever

That's just between me and you
    Ever after, i'll remember you
But most of all i love you 'cause you're you
And don't forget my love for you

Good times never seem so good
And friends just cant be found
    I vow we'll never part
And we'll stay together no matter how strong the wind blows

I dont know if you'd like to do create some, but at least you could give a little try, it's fun! I mean it

Your technique is somewhat related to the cut-up method used by writer Bill Burroughs, and others. He used it on his own writings as well as on Shakespeare's plays. The thing is, after getting to new "random poem", to find your own interpretation of it - it's a kind of self-analysis.

A lovely idea for getting to know yourself

Hi Ezgi I liked your poem here's one I wrote when I was a teenager, it contains Elvis song titles rather than lyrics

    Raised on Rock

    Elvis was the one
    Who shook up everyone
But don't step on his blue suede shoes
If you've got a lot of livin to do

Elvis, its the wonder of you
To do the Dixieland Rock the way you do
Elvis I'll let you be my Teddy Bear
    Cos, Baby I Don't Care
You ask how long I love you, I'll tell you true,
until the Twelfth of Never, I'll still be loving you
