Is this dvd worth buying? I am thinking of buying it but I wasn't sure, thought I asked here and see if anyone has seen it or has it and loves it. Thanks

Dee13, I have this DVD, the book, and CD. All are must haves. The DVD is fantastic.....it has footage that wasn't in the special when it aired on TV. The interviews with Priscilla's parents make it worth watching just for that. The material used on Elvis is absolutely wonderful. I definitely think you ought to get it.

It is not a popular series of items around here having been dubbed "Elvis by the Beaulieus" by many. Me Personally I enjoyed it though it was from their perspective,
nice photos and video. The CD has a lot of material I enjoy as well. Personally
I'd reccomend it but I'm not one of the Anti Priscilla folks.

There is alot of stuff from the On Tour movie from 1972 and when i bought this dvd,i didn't have that movie,so that was for me a highlight.
I liked the interviews and home videos very much,and i have learnt alot things.
I would buy it,it's a good release

the only thing worth to see for m, was some Elvis footage in it..but in total they are too short, Lisa's scenes were too short as well..the rest is for people who like to see his ex, acting and talkin and talkin. explaning how her ex husband were seeing things and such .a Beaulieu dvd for sure..needs an editing for me..

There is some very good footage on this DVD, including the aforementioned CBS Special material!! So in that aspect, I would recommend the DVD!!

Just remember though when watching it, that this is basically Elvis' story as told by Priscilla and her family. Therefore it's more or less a "Priscilla lovefest" (making Priscilla out to be a saint) in my opinion...a little hard to listen to at times, but the footage they used throughout the special (including the bonus stuff that is on the DVD which was not shown on the TV special) makes the DVD tolerable.
