Nail Swirl (aka) Apache Jumpsuit (1970)

White Nail (aka) Apache Jumpsuit or I Got Lucky (1970)

Quite why this Jumpsuit has been called the Apache (fan name) is anyones guess, but it seems to bare no relation to Indian or any native American design?

One of my favorites, the simpler, the better. Anyone have some clear, high quality scans of the I Got Luck LP or the back of the Double Dynamite LP that they can post or email to me?

    Thanks!

I always wondered why this suit was called "Apache" by so many people. The word Apache is Native American and nothing on this suit is referring to that. So I asked this question to Butch Polston from B & K's. He was just as surprised as me about that name. He also told me that Bill Belew named this suit "Nail Swirl" which does make a hell of alot more sense to me. Two identical version were made of this suit.

I have to disappoint you in that matter. Fact is that most websites are using the wrong names as being for real. But I do have a list with the names. I will upload it on SendIt en put the link here so you (and anyone who's interested) can download it.

I would not dare referring to your site in this Matt(er) . You're about the only one who's open for feedback . But as you know there are a lot of individuals who claim to be "experts" but in the end wind up using album cover names !!!!
I soon hope to provide you with new material. And...by the way, I almost forgot...
