There's a list of Elvis's cars in the book "Elvis and You" I can scan and post them, but I'm not sure if it's a complete list.
Can people add what cars elvis owned himself,
not just "Cadillac" but year and model,
it would be interesting to see what he exactly owned.

Just think how big the list would be if you included the ones he bought for others, or simply gave away.....I couldn't even begin to think of how long the list would be then.
From the "Elvis & You" book brought to us here in Ireland by one of the Authors, John O' Hara of New York.
Excuse the quality I'm under pressure to go shopping:-)
The full list is too long to scan...we are talking hundreds...not counting those hundreds he simply gave away, like Vulcandude pointed out.
Elvis's generosity was one of his finest virtues.
http://irelandtoo.blogspot.com not compulsory viewing but you may miss out:-)
Thanks Maurice. The pic of Elvis in his car you posted above......any way to get a clearer copy of that posted? It looks so cool.....and what was the last car Elvis bought anyway? I also wonder if the list includes cars he used in his movies......![]()
I'll try and post the picture close up.
Elvis used some of his own cars in the movies
I 'll reread the chapter on Elvis's cars-)
The car is blue according to the author.
This may help?
Why not purchase the book "Elvis & You" it's full of very interesting photos and info.
I love the pic with elvis on the roof of the car.

John O' Hara brought it to us himself because we helped publicise it on Radio and in the press.
Never liked that book. Much prefer the serious ones on Elvis. Plenty of them on Ebay and Amazon. My advice is for people to read the serious ones, then the wishy-washy books are good brain candy. Elvis and You is brain candy!![]()
That's OK. I like to read all the books on Elvis Presley and make my own mind up.
Rarely do Elvis fans agree on the literatureSome Elvis "scholars" lap up all the dry facts without appreciating the human heart behind it all.
Elvis's music at it's best is what is really important.
ALL the rest is window dressing. Some like lace curtains some like blinds![]()
"Elvis &You" is worth the money for the photos alone...........besides yours truly likes John O' Hara, a very big guy, with a great sense of humour.
I think Tunzi's books are the ones for pictures. People should save their money and buy good books. Elvis and You is a nice book to look at but there are better ones and it really isn't that good a book.
I didn't think forums were the place to advertise but seeing as Elvis and You is getting so much press may I reccomend Tunzi's books on Amazon.com and also Ebay.
