    re the upstairs

a great example, that E.P. had no privacy what so ever, everyone failed to be loyal.

    Bathroom

Why is it "morbid" to see photos of Elvis' bathroom? What's the difference between those, and the pics of anywhere else in Graceland we get to see?
It would be morbid if the pics had Elvis on the bathroom floor after his death, but just as they are, I think they're perfectly fine.
And so what if it was part of the "private" area of Graceland? I'm sure Elvis would be pleased people are still so interested in how he lived ...
Or are you referring to the fact that Linda's friend is actually selling photos of the bathroom?

Elvis private area is now all the internet, he wound't be pleased about the world seeing the upstairs were few were privaged to see, l don't think that jeanne had any respect for elvis or she wouldn't of taken pictures, and LInda shouldn't of allowed her to do so in the begining.

    Cool

It cant be much worse than Priscilla opening up the house to anyone who wants to walk around it.

I don't see the harm in the pictures.

It's nice to see how the house looked when Elvis lived there - until Priscilla decided to redecorate after his death, regrdless if the end result looks better in today's terms.

I don't think that the house would of stayed in Lisa name if priscilla didn't open graceland and respect elvis's wishes for lisa to have the house. Least priscilla or lisa never opened the upstairs, for fans to come and see,not like some people who took pictures and put them over the internet for the world to see.

    Graceland "Upstairs" Pictures ..

    Cool

It is more to with them not being able to, for fire and safety reasons - altering the house which they can't do - than actually not letting people up.

EPE like to perpetuate a certain myth about the upstairs. Fact is that there is hardly anything up there, and they can't open it up as the stairs wont take the traffic and they would need to alter the outside of the house by installing a fire escape which they can't as Graceland is a landmark.

Priscilla never respected his wishes, the fact she is or ever was involved in the estate is against his wishes. The guy left her nothing. That says exactly what he thought of her. He also refused her the use of the Lisa marie shortly before he died.

The fact these pictures are for sale and someone is profiting out of people's curiosity, I'm sure Elvis would have wanted this area private.

I agree the pictures never should have been taken, because that was violating Elvis' privacy. But as I have said before, we don't know that Elvis didn't mind pictures were taken of the upstairs.
As much as the upstairs was his sanctuary away from the world, I respect Priscilla and EPE's choice to keep the upstairs off limits. I don't think Elvis would have wanted to share "everything" with the world, but I also think he'd be very happy that Graceland is open for the fans to see. He loved to please the fans, and tours at Graceland do please us. Although I'm as curious about Elvis' bedroom and the rest of the upstairs like any other fan, I'm going to respect what little privacy Elvis enjoyed when he was alive.

Well I would think EPE would have stepped in for letting her sell those pictures unless she lives in different country? Thing is the laws on here are really tuff. Like Casino Internet Gambling is agaist the law here in the States but because the internet page and money they take goes into account out of the states nothing the US can do. So that's only reason I can think EPE has not stepped in on those photo's.

I like the Red a lot better than the blue and Elvis did too! And your right with the fire exits and etc. And only thing that's left upstairs is his bed and etc but that's about it. But we could also be totally wrong and all the stuff could be in vaults in piece and when ever they like they can bring it up and put it back thoughter.

    Cool

The Internet Gambling law is about as dumb as George Dubya Bush. If you elect *****s, you get *****ic bills.

It is quite interesting to look at the IQ of the states that voted Bush, compared with the IQ of those that voted Kerry.

I mean trying to tell people they can't gamble in their own homes, what next, the re-introduction of prohibition.
